The midfielder joined the club for training after Ghana's clash with Sierra Leone was cancelled
Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has rejoined his club Deportivo Alaves and reported for training following the cancellation of the 2019 Afcon qualifier against Sierra Leone.
Wakaso, 28, was the first of the internationals to rejoin the Babazorros El Glorioso work routine.
He appeared yesterday in Ibaia, where he made a specific work routine apart from his colleagues.
The former Celtic midfield enforcer was away on international duty with the Black Stars.
He was invited for Ghana’s Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone, a game which was called off after the latter received a FIFA ban.
Wakaso trained with his teammates as they prepare for Friday’s La Liga fixture against Celta Vigo.
The likes of John Guidetti, Antonio Sivera, Guillermo Maripán and Fernando Pacheco are expected to report to camp after international assignments with their respective countries.
