Former Hearts of Oak ace Mohammed Ahmed Polo says the ongoing renovation work at the Kaneshie Azumah Nelson Sports Complex will help him produce more football talents.
The edifice which has been in deplorable state for the past 20 years will be given a face-lift which will include a standardly sized football pitch, a multipurpose gym, swimming pool and hostels to house national teams.
And Polo, who is known to be a good talent spotter, has expressed his delight with the refurbishment currently ongoing at the facility and indicated that it will aid to grinding out more talents for the good of the game.
“I am already here with the youth and we are developing with the hope that a lot of them will come through."
“There is also the five-year development plan which I am working on."
“This will happen throughout the region and with this facility, we can achieve a lot."
The Ministry of Youth and Sports revealed that the cost of the renovation is GH¢18 million.
