Nana Ampomah makes debut appearance for Fortuna Dusseldorf in SC Freiburg defeat

Ghana winger Nana Opoku Ampomah made his Bundesliga debut for Fortuna Dusseldorf in their 2-1 home defeat to SC Freiburg on Sunday.

The Ghana midfielder was brought on for Polish attacker David Kownaki on the 75th minute.

Nana Ampomah had been injured at the mouth of the season, ruling him out of the opening league games for The Flingeraners.

The swift winger introduced urgency in the game for the home side but his inclusion came a little too late as the visitors stole a 2-1 win.

SC Freiburg continued their stunning away run in the Bundesliga with the 2-1 win after previously winning 3-1 and 3-0 over SC Paderborn 07 and TSG Hoffenheim respectively.
