Ghanaian forward Nicholas Gyan is confident his Simba SC side will eliminate Mbabane Swallows in the CAF Champions league.
The 1993 CAF Cup finalists, Simba beat Eswatini Champions’, Mbabane Swallows 4-1 last week in Dar es Salaam, to put one leg to the next round of the Continental first tier competition.
Currently in the third position on the ongoing Tanzania top flight league, Simba need to contain Mbabane away.
Nicholas Gyan who set John Bocco opener in the first leg, says they hold a good chance to through the next round but that should not make them relax and play comfortably in the return leg.
“It is important game for us, we have good chance after home victory but we need to keep the spirit and fight for positive results,” he said ahead of the game.
Meanwhile, Simba SC coach Patrick Aussems says his side will approach the game cautiously despite the lead from Tanzania.
“We are going to play one of the best team in Africa, it will not be easy. We will play our kind of football as we did it at home because if we say we are going to defend, we will not manage to defend for all 90 minutes,” he said.
“We respect Mbabane and we will play with cautions away. Our target is to go through the next round and we will make it happen,” he added.
