Kwesi Nyantakyi has confirmed that the Ghana's new national team coach will also take charge of the Local Black Stars squad to force the person to stay and monitor the local league.
The president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) says new Black Stars coach will be given the added responsibility of handling the home-based national team.
Nyantakyi is heading the six-man search team set up to identify the best coach for the Black Stars and sets out the task for the coach.
"The new coach has no option than to live in Ghana. The new coach will also be in charge of the CHAN team. That will force him to visit the local league centres," Nyantakyi said on Wednesday.
Immediate-past Ghana coach Avram Grant was excused from that duty while his assistant Maxwell Konadu was in-charge.
The new coach will lead the local Black Stars in the qualifiers to the 2018 CHAN tournament.
