United States President Donald Trump met with Lionel Messi and the Inter Miami CF squad at the White House on Thursday, March 5, 2026, following their 2025 Major League Soccer Cup triumph.
Messi, alongside Inter Miami owner Jorge Mas and several members of the club, visited the White House as part of celebrations for their successful MLS season.
During the ceremony, the Argentine captain and Mas presented Trump with an Inter Miami jersey bearing his name, along with a glittering pink soccer ball trophy.
