Paderborn 07 manager Markus Krösche has heaped praises on Ghana international Bernard Tekpetey following his hat-trick heroics against Darmstadt in the Bundesliga II.
The on-loan Schalke forward netted a hat-trick as Paderborn thrashed Darmstadt 6-2 on Sunday.
The 21-year old's performance earned him praises from his manager, who is delighted with the Ghanaian's form at the club.
"Bernard and Sven have shown their qualities," said manager Markus Krösche. "He made a great play after getting himself into conversations with referees and opponents. I told him to play football and he did."
Bernard Tekpetey, who is on his second loan spell from Schalke expressed satisfaction with his performance against Darmstadt.
"I myself expected to meet today, and my friend also told me to score a goal for her." The third was Freestyle. "That's crazy for me, but it was a win for the whole team," Tekpetey said.
The striker has now scored seven goals this season in the Bundesliga II.
