Ghana defender John Paintsil has revealed that there are several offers on the table after a deal with championship side Millwall fell through.
The former West Ham guardsman together with ex-QPR winger Cook and midfielder Croft featured for Millwall in their recent pre-season friendlies hoping to land a deal.
Millwall’s boss Steve Lomas has decided to look elsewhere for new players after he was undecided on the trialists.
Paintsil said he is currently considering the pool of offers he has and will make a decision soon.
“I have several offers on the table which I have to choose the right one, hopefully, I will be back playing soon,” the defender told Goal Ghana.
“My agent is in talks with a host of clubs and will soon join a new club when the necessary details are sorted.”
The Black Stars deputy captain has also paid glowing tributes to the national Under-20 team of Ghana, the Black Satellites for winning bronze at the 2013 Fifa U20 World Cup in Turkey.
Paintsil, who was a member of Ghana’s silver winning team at the 2001 edition in Argentina is optimistic the current U20 players will be groomed to hold the future of the Black Stars.
He believes players like Ebenezer Assifuah, Seidu Salifu and a few others have the potential to blossom into super stars if they take the game seriously.
“I watched all their matches at the U20 World Cup and believe they have the potential to hit higher heights,” Paintsil added.
