Ghanaian forward Patrick Twumasi was in action as FC Astana hammered FC Kairat to win the Kazakhstan Super Cup.
FC Astana recorded a 3-0 victory over FC Kairat at the Astana Arena to clinch the trophy.
A brace from Marin Tomasov and a 56th minute goal from Ivan Maevskiy helped the Yellow and Blues lads to win the title for the third time.
The Ghana international enjoyed the full throttle of the match with a splendid performance.
He scored 14 league goals to emerge as the club's second highest top scorer last season.
Twumasi also registered five goals in his eight appearances for FC Astana in the 2018 UEFA Europa League.
The Black Stars striker has had an amazing season and there are talks that he may be moving to the bigger league at the end of the season.
In the recently ended winter transfer window, Twumasi was linked with a move to the French League but the move did not materialize, but there are whispers that a move in the summer is certain.
He has also become an important part of the new-look Black Stars that new coach Kwesi Appiah is trying to build for the 2019 Cup of Nations to be played in Cameroon.
