Ghana Black Stars attacker Patrick Twumasi is set to join Spanish La Liga side Deportivo Alaves.
According to a report by Fichajales, talks between Kazakhstani club Astana and Alaves are at an advanced stage and the Ghanaian can fly to Spain any moment to complete his personal terms.
Twumasi, 24, has been the livewire of Astana since joining them from Latvian side FC Spartak but he is bent on leaving as he has achieved all in the Euro-Asia country.
His current deal with Astana expires in the summer of 2019 but they are bent on selling him this window as he could move free in January.
The former Red Bull Ghana forward has never hidden his desire to move away from Kazakhstan for a bigger challenge after twice being voted as the player of the season.
Alaves will pay Astana a fee within the region of 3 million Euros to land the free-scoring Ghanaian attacker.
He could be the third Ghanaian the club have signed this summer after grabbing Obeng Regan from Serbian side FK Cukaricki and Joseph Otoo from Ghana third-tier side Cheetah FC.
Twumasi has netted 18 goals and provided three assists in 28 games so far in 2018.
