Black Stars coach Carlos Queiroz has assembled an attacking-heavy squad for Ghana’s upcoming international friendly against Wales, with several in-form forwards earning call-ups following impressive performances during the 2025/26 season.

Leading the list is Antoine Semenyo, who has enjoyed a sensational campaign, scoring 21 goals and providing six assists in 48 appearances for his club side.

Captain Jordan Ayew also keeps his place in the team after recording six goals and three assists in 45 matches, while Inaki Williams remains one of the experienced names in attack despite a modest return of four goals and six assists in 39 games.

One of the standout inclusions is Prince Kwabena Adu, whose 13-goal season has earned him recognition at national team level.

Brandon Thomas-Asante has also been rewarded after a prolific season in which he registered 21 goals and six assists in 48 appearances.

Young winger Ernest Nuamah returns to the squad after recovering from an ACL injury. The forward has made only three appearances since his comeback.

Creative attacker Christopher Bonsu Baah earns a place after contributing 13 assists and three goals in 36 games, while Kamaldeen Sulemana and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku also make the squad following solid club campaigns.

Issahaku in particular impressed with nine goals and eight assists in 44 matches, strengthening his case for a starting role in the friendly encounter.
