US Sassuolo midfielder Alfred Duncan is not convinced the Ten Thousand Euros fined handed Inter Milan for racist abuse on Senegalese defender Khalidou Koulibaly is enough.
The Inter Milan academy product revealed he suffered racist abuse during his time at the youth side of the club and believes heavy punishments need to be handed offenders to eliminate the predicament.
"A similar situation has happened to me several times, the first in the youth academy of Inter, from some parents in the gallery. I pretended nothing, but I thought of the example given to the boys. If my father does 'buu', I'm led to do it too," he said.
"Ten thousand euro fine at Inter is a tickle, two days of disqualification are fine but then pass. The League must sanction heavily, so as to get certain ideas to certain people. On the other hand, playing in an empty stadium, albeit with the children, is tremendous."
"Koulibaly? Crap, I do not understand how the color of the skin is affected in the world of sports. Once, after a few buu, I was disgusted in the locker room ".
