Rahim Ayew, older brother to Marseille winger Andre Ayew, has revealed to Goal that his sibling is not eyeing any move from the French Ligue 1 side but intends to help the team achieve a good finish in the league.

Reports are rife in the Ghanaian media that Les Phoceens' talisman, whose contract ends in June, is on his way out of Stade Velodrome and has even signed a pre-contract with a Premier League team. Rahim refutes such reports insisting the 25-year-old still has a future at Marseille.

“Andre is not thinking about moving out of Marseille. What is on his mind at the moment is winning the Ligue 1 and going injury free. So to be frank with you, Andre does not know his next step for now as he is concentrated on Marseille,” Rahim told Goal.

“He went through the youth ranks of Marseille and has risen to the top. He feels at home at Marseille and he is in no haste to take a decision to move out of the club,” the former Kumasi Asante Kotoko utility player said.

Rahim, 26, is the first son of Ghanaian soccer legend Abedi Pele, but from a different mother, while Andre and FC Lorient’s Jordan Ayew are from the same mother.

“The rumours are normal but the truth is my brother has not signed any pre-contract with Newcastle or any club, he is thinking about finishing the season well and nothing else," he said.

Rahim was a member of Ghana squad at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and last season featured for Kumasi Asante Kotoko before deciding not to extend his deal after the end of the season.
