Ghanaian midfielder Richard Boateng made his Real Oviedo debut in a preseason friendly against Vetusta in Spain.
The 25 year old started the friendly against Vetusta and help them to a 1-0 win over their opponents.
Richard Boateng, younger brother of former Black Stars midfielder Derek Boateng joined Oviedo from UD Melila after a spectacular season, where he scored 15 goals from 31 appearances.
The former Liberty Professionals player has been preparing for the upcoming campaign with the side, who are poised on earning promotion to the top flight.
Boateng was awarded with the best goal of the just ended Segunda division following his long range effort against Jumilla last season.
His move to Real Oviedo is seen as a giant step as the club expect him to be key in the upcoming season.
The Ghanaian previously played for Granada, Aris Limassol and Extramadura UD.
