Rubin Kazan offer $5m for Wakaso

Russian giants Rubin Kazan have slapped in a $5m offer to sign Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso, Ghanasoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Kazan officially sent in the offer on Wednesday to his Spanish club Espanyol seeking to lure the talented player.

Officials of Espanyol have told Ghanasoccernet.com that they are unlikely to release the player for the $5m that the Russians want to sign the player.

The Ghanaian is said to be interested in a move that would enhance his career which means he wants to play in some of the top leagues in Europe.

Wakaso, who hit global headlines for his heroics at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, has been interesting several clubs in England, Spain and Germany.

The highly rated Ghana international has been on the radar of the Catalan giants Barcelona for some time.

With Alex Song’s future far from certain at the Nou Camp, speculations are that the Spanish club are on the lookout for midfield additions has gone into overdrive.
