Samsung Offers 300 Nigerians Tickets

Samsung, one of the leading manufacturers of mobile phones and consumer goods is offering 300 Nigerians opportunities to go to Ghana next month to cheer the Super Eagles to victory in the African Cup of Nations scheduled to begin on January 20.

Speaking at a media briefing yesterday in Lagos to flag off the Ghana 2008 promotion, Vikas Kumar, the sales director who represented the CEO of Samsung said that his company was proud to be associated with the Super Eagles in the championship and is ready to do everything to ensure that the Nigerian senior team returns to Lagos as champions.


"The focus behind the sponsorship of the 300 to be selected in our promotion to Ghana is to ensure that the Super Eagles get maximum support while campaigning for the crown," observed the representative of the managing director of Samsung.


The consumer promotions which is in three phases will have the first draw conducted in the second week of January.

"Each time consumers buy our products during this period, they should insists on getting their raffle tickets that will qualify them for the draw. We are targeting a minimum of 300 winners leaving for Ghana to watch all of Super Eagles matches from group stages to the final game,' he noted.


Apart from household items to be also won in another category tagged "Guess the Winner", Samsung has also pledged to open massive viewing centres in ten locations in Lagos, two in Abuja and one in Kano and Port Harcourt centres to enable fans follow live actions in the Ghana 2008 edition.
