The former Manchester City player lasted full duration to help Black Meteors annihilate Togo by 5-1 in the first leg of their CAF U-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualification series on Tuesday.

Yaw Yeboah says Spanish football is the best for him considering his qualities and talent. The 21-year old currently plies his trade in the the Spanish Segunda División for Club Deportivo Numancia de Soria.

Yeboah joined Manchester City in 2014, after graduating from the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana and was sent on loan at Lille in August 2015 to gain experience.

He made his debut for Lille OSC on 25 October 2015 against Olympique de Marseille in Ligue 1. The teenager would only make 3 appearances for the French club.

However on 21 July 2016 he made another loan move to Dutch side FC Twente before embarking on his third loan stint at Real Oviedo in Spain in 2017 on a season long-loan with the Spanish club having the option to sign him permanently.

On 18 July 2018, Yeboah signed a three-year contract with fellow Segunda División team CD Numancia and now believes Spain is the perfect destination for him.

“I am in Spain now. For me that’s where the football suits my play. So I’m playing every week and I’m doing very well winning player of the match regularly.” Yeboah told FootballmadeinGhana.com in an exclusive interview.

“I am still Yaw Yeboah. In football it is about your performance as a player and I keep on working hard. So Ghanaians should expect more big things to come from me” the talented offensive midfielder added.
