Former Ghana international, Laryea Kingston, has admonished Black Stars head coach Otto Addo to stamp his authority on his team.

Following his reappointment as head coach of the Ghana national team, Otto Addo has managed to revive the 2026 FIFA World Cup hopes of the side.

Speaking to GTV Sports Plus, Laryea Kingston indicated that Ghanaians should be excited about the recent wins over Mali and the Central African Republic.

"We should not be excited about the two wins, but Otto Addo must plan for the rest of the games," he said.

In his interview, Laryea Kingston praised Coach Otto Addo but urged him to stamp his authority on the team.

"I think he has clearly shown what he wants to do, but he should send the message to the players that this is how we must approach the game, and we must deliver. These players cannot be taught how to play football, but Otto Addo must stamp his authority on the team," Laryea Kingston said.

After the games with Mali and the Central African Republic, the Black Stars will not play any game in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers until March 2025.
