Sam Clucas has paid tribute to Jordan Ayew as the pair scored for Swansea City in their 3-1 thumping of Arsenal in the English Premier League at the Liberty Stadium on Teusday.
Nacho Monreal put Arsene Wenger's side ahead just after the half-hour but within two minutes Clucas had levelled the game.
Ayew put the Swans in front just after the hour-mark and despite being under pressure for the majority of the game before Clucas' second of the night sealed the victory for Swansea with four minutes on the clock.
"We felt we could play a bit more, Arsenal give you a bit more time than Liverpool," Clucas said. "I thought we deserved the win.
"Jordan Ayew has been brilliant. The last two games he's been up there on his own. I thought we were ruthless in the second half. It's a massive result win. Every win breeds confidence."
By virtue of the win, Swansea move out of the bottom of the log to 17th place and will hope to keep the momentum when they travel to Leicester City on Saturday.
