Prophet, TB Joshua, Was Right, 18th April is Good Friday, “Holy Friday,"

Would Bukom Banku fight when he’s fasting As a Moslem?

By Maxwell Okamafo Addo

Good Friday, also known as "Holy Friday," which falls on the 18th April is the Friday immediately proceeding Easter Sunday Easter, It is celebrated traditionally as the day on which Jesus was crucified.

That is why I have decided to be on the ring side of my Brethren in Christ Ayitey Powers for his decision as a Christian not to honour the much anticipated April 18 boxing bout between him and Bukom Banku on a Good Friday a Holy day, something that even our pastors have not thought of to wade into but rather leave him to be flocked with insults and chastised by Christians and non Christians.

As a Christian I know that 18th April is the Friday immediately proceeding the Easter thus the death of Christ and would want to use the day to mourn the death of our Lord Jesus Christ and savoir so no serious Christian would want to even live his home and family to go and watch a boxing fight on that day, I believe the timing was wrong although they might have bought tickets. .

People are also getting it wrong Ayitey Powers says God has communicated to him through his spiritual father, Prophet, TB Joshua, not to fight because the day18th April was wrong because it was the day preceding Easter ,I find no problem with it because Bukom Banku would not want to fight on a Sala day of fight when he’s fasting.

What Ghanaians should do is to remember Jesus' death by celebrating Good Friday? So his promoters should have known.

The Bible does not instruct Christians to remember Christ’s death by honoring a certain day. The Bible does give us freedom in these matters as Christians we have chosen that particular day as a Good Friday lets respect the views of Mr. Powers ,
