Didn't the teahings of Christ say that if your brother slaps you on one cheek turn the other to him too, or if you have two cloaks and your brother ask for one give it to him freely without asking it back? Well, compare this to humanistic philophies for which most of you have "believed" teach you surival of the fittest where the srong have to devour the weak for perpetuity of nature? Which of these two teachings advocate for peace/war, harmony and disunity? YOU JUDGE AND THE READERS JUDGE AS WELL.

In boxing, you have the option to pull out for whatever reason. In football, it is a team game which has been arranged and all the players may not even be moslems if you are talking about fasting. But I have seen moslems refuse to fast on the day of football matches. If it is a tournament and you think that the fasting cannot be brken it is your choice. But note that Christians also fast and I don't think any Christian will fast on the day he as a match, expecially a boxing bout.
