The new Spanish season may only be two weeks away, but it appears as though Thomas Partey doesn’t have a care in the world as he enjoys his vacation.

The Atletico Madrid midfielder shared a sizzling photo on his Instagram page on Thursday, where the Ghana international appears to be completely at ease and enjoying a sunny holiday in Malta.

In the shot, he’s joined by his girlfriend, who goes by the name of Oheema on her @kiingawa Instagram handle.

If Partey’s hot holiday continues at this rate, we fear that Diego Simeone might be one man short for the start of the Spanish season!

Atleti begin their La Liga campaign with three away games as they await the opening of their new stadium, with a trip to Kevin-Prince Boateng’s Las Palmas coming either side of visits to Girona and Valencia.

Their first home game is scheduled to be against Malaga on September 17th.

24-year-old Partey will surely be hoping to build on his contribution last season, where he made 16 La Liga appearances, of which only six were starts.
