Cape Coast, Feb. 28, GNA - Cape Coast Venomous Vipers made light work of a determined HFC Bank football club when they beat them 2-0 in a friendl= y match played at the Robert Mensah sports stadium, Cape Coast on Saturday. Right from the referee's whistle, it was Vipers who took absolute control of the game and went ahead to score two goals through Michael Tawia= h in the 35th and 40th minute.

Right from the referee's whistle, it was Vipers who took absolute control of the game and went ahead to score two goals through Michael Tawia= h in the 35th and 40th minute. HFC Bank resumed the second half strongly in an effort to reduce the tally and in the process earned a penalty in the 65 minute but Agyeman Duah shot over the bar. Vipers from then again came into the picture and in the 70th, 75th and 80th minutes they came close to scoring but their forwards wasted the chances.
