Black Stars forward Mohammed Kudus scored a goal-of-the-season contender in West Ham United's defeat to Manchester City on Sunday, May 19, 2024.
Kudus reduced the deficit for the visitors who were trailing 2-0 with a sensational bicycle kick goal a few minutes to end the first half.
His goal turned out to be the only consolation for David Moyes' boys as they lost 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
The game was the final outing as West Ham coach for Moyes, the man who brought Kudus in from Ajax.
Another clip of Kudus' contribution to West Ham's performance at the Etihad has been shared on social media, where the former Ajax man received a pass deep in the West Ham half and holds off a City player.
When a second player joins the bid to dispossess him, Kudus eludes both players before taking on a third City player after crossing the centre line into the opponent's territory.
He turns back before releasing the ball to a teammate.
The win confirmed Manchester City as the champions of the 2023/2024 Premier League season, winning their fourth straight title.
Meanwhile, Kudus' goal was his eighth in the Premier League taking his total goal involvement to 14 including 6 assists.
The former Ajax man completed the season as the joint highest-scoring Ghanaian in the Premier League, tied with Bournemouth striker Antoine Semenyo.
The 23-year-old has ended the season on a strong note, scoring 17 goals and providing 7 assists in 47 games in all competitions.
