Andre Ayew insists the swans will fight until the very end, despite conceding it will take a miracle to maintain premier league status.
Carlos Carvalhal’s side go into Sunday’s final fixture of the season knowing they must beat already-relegated Stoke City at the Liberty and hope Manchester City beat Southampton with a ten-goal swing between those results.
While Ayew concedes it is a big ask, he revealed the Swans go into the game with belief.
“We are not finished yet – we have one game left and our fans deserve a big performance and big result,” said Ayew, who returned to the Swans for a second spell in January from West Ham.
“Mathematically it is not over and we have some hope. We have to believe and hope a miracle will happen.
“It has been a very disappointing season for everyone connected to the club, but we will fight until the end.”
