Ghana international Andy Kyere Yiadom is expected to sign for Swansea City in the January transfer window.
The Barnsley fullback has been a subject of interest for Swansea, Huddersfield Town, and Newcastle United but the Welsh-based side are now the frontrunners to sign him.
The Mirror on Tuesday reported that Swansea have already agreed with Barnsley for the transfer of the versatile defender.
Swansea will have a discussion with Yiadom on his personal terms as they seek to complete the deal in the first week of January.
Yiadom’s contract with Barnsley ends in the summer of 2018 and the club have to sell him this winter window or risk losing him for free.
Currently, his market value is pegged at £2million.
