But they took their eye off the BALL...in other words, THE GFA lapped up the success, but never even thought about injecting the squad with a sprinkling of new talent coming thru the grades..And are paying the price for under achieving
Using recycled players from years gone by ,hoping they can do the job ,but football is a young man's game .....anyone over the age of 27 should be looking for a new career path, coz their days are done.
So clearly,that's the state of play,...pumping millions into an old racehorse , hoping he can win the Melbourne Cup with 70 kilos on his back.
ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. ....EVER.
