  What an illustrious career. Tony is one of the best midfielders the game has seen. His ball distribution, skills, goals and overall contribution to the game made him an integral part of any team he played for be it club or national team. He is a midfield dynamo par excellence. The football world will surely miss him especially owing to the fact that he had been tremendous this season. One would have thought that he’ll continue for some few more years but hey, the man seems to have had enough of the game and it’s time to call it quit. Kudos Tony Kruus

  In our side of the world , our players don't want to retire unless forced out. And our some media and football people will support them to stay on because of small nokofio they are getting.
