This can NEVER be true. Successful? In which way? If you've lived in Asamoh Gyans era alone, then I wouldn't argue over this.

The question is how many competitive games did each of them play for Ghana

  • Selfmade KING 1 year ago

He qualified Ghana to the wc on three solid occasions and contributed goals to aid our qualifications

Did Asamoah Gyan win any trophy for Ghana?
    No,

  • Selfmade KING 1 year ago

Qualifying Ghana to the wc on three solid occasion is better than winning the afcon

  • JAMES 1 year ago

Big mistake ! Asamoh GYAN did not qualify Ghana to world cup. A team in which he was part , qualified Ghana to world cup.

  • Selfmade KING 1 year ago

So based on that assumption, then no individual Ghanaian player won an award or afcon for us because it was the team that won it and hence that record shouldn’t be on any individual players accomplishments!

    Or?

As a clinical finisher, I will give it to Tony. He did not waste many chances, but as Kwabena said, their curcumstances were different and Asamoah had more time to mature and play for the stars.

Kelvin Taylor and his students will not be happy. They see partisan politics in everything in this country and can not share ideas or criticize without insult.

For me,Tony Yeboah was a better and more accomplished striker than Sarah Trumu Gyan!
Gyan couldn't survive in any competetive league but ran away to Middle East to play colts level soccer

He never won a single cup at any level for Ghana. The last time Ghana won a world cup was 2009. Won by Dede. Ayew. A name Ghanaians don't want to hear.

UncleKwabna Ybeoah, I beg to differ. Asamoh couldn't be better than Anthony Yeboah in all aspects of football. Aah,!

  • Nii 1 year ago

Mr Writer I've always admired what you write but I differ with this. Tony made an instant impact in UK n the black stars .

This is disappointing to hear this from an accomplished journalist like KY. How on earth do you compare A. Gyan to Anthony Yeboah. Its so disrespectful to do that Kwabena. Gyan cannot lace the boots of Yegoala.
