Having many cars does not mean you are very rich. Ghanaians are obsessed with cars because that is one of the things they wrongly assume is a sign of great wealth. Cars are assets which depreciate in value very quickly.
The truly rich Ghanaians (and most live abroad) don't tend to flaunt their wealth in such vulgar ways. They may have a few cars usually quite ordinary but reliable makes of automobiles. Sometimes they may have a high end sports model. A few own private jets which are used for purely business ventures. The richest Ghanaians living abroad are neither celebrities in the entertainment industry nor even sports men but rather people who are entrepreneurs or professionals who over many years (a few decades sometimes)have built a business or invested wisely in various asset classes and have become multimillionaires.Most built their wealth over many years while living abroad and working incredibly hard. The truly wealthy do not include the thieves and robbers we tend to be familiar with who use their government appointmentss to amass ill-gotten gains. Anybody who has a dozen or more cars parked in front of their mansion is probably a very insecure person and probably need some psycholigical counselling.
Driving a small car is not a sign that you are less successful or unsuccessful.Driving a big or expensive car does not mean you have achieved true success or riches. You can drive a big car and be up to your eyeballs in debt. Show us your bank accounts ,show us your real estate portfolios, your stock market portfolios etc and also tell us how you accumulated your wealth then we will have reason to applaud you.
The wealthiest Ghanaians abroad live below the radar and have no desire to prove their riches to anyone.
