Gyan was probably too young to watch Maradona in 1986 WC in Mexico. There have been great footballers in our generation , but none is above the great Maradona , the earthly god of football.

He was such a delight to watch and a classic example of a modern day striker. He was skilled, strong, very lacy and could score from very tight angles. His goal against Algeria, USA, Nigeria with that header and a host of them tells you the quality Asamoah Gyan had. A football demi god from Ghana and he'll forever be missed.
