Stephen Appiah a great guy and great footballer, but my question is as it stands with GFA rules and regulations does he qualify to contest for the position? Mind you when it comes to contesting for the position of GFA PRESIDENT is not the retired footballers who vote o, its members of the association who have the voting rights to do so.
If he is not a member then he can join any of the numerous DIVISION 1 leagues as executive member or any role that he will become a member of the FA.
As for being a Sport Minister why not after all that one its the perogative of the sitting president. So yea starting from deputy Sport Minister wont be bad.
