There was no way anyone could have expressed their anger openly because there was a culture of silence from the recent military take over which had occurred. JJ failed the national team, PERIOD!! There's no way of reversing what he did. It has lowered the team morale and dampened the team spirit over the years. Maybe the only way to reverse this trend is to reward all those who WON the trophy for this nation.

Kwame Nkrumah only promised the players with houses but was never fulfilled.
Acheampong also made the same promise but couldn't fulfill.
The 82 AFCON is special in the sense that the Liman administration boycotted it before Rawlings came to the scene.
Ghana was not prepared to take part until the last 2 weeks.
I'm not surprised that the 82 squad didn't get anything because the previous winners didn't get anything either.
Our leaders have not been fair to our AFCON winners.Tnx.

The players who were selected in Sekondi during the Hassacas and Kotoko dame were happy to play for the country. None of them complained as winning the Cup is something. Ask Asamoah Gyan who got no Cup for scoring over 50 goals.
