  The coach has the right and responsibility to select his players for any game, based on merit. He does not need to provide a reason to the media or the general public for excluding any player from selection.

  The coach has the right and responsibility to select his players for any game, based on merit. He does not need to provide a reason to the media or the general public for excluding any player from selection.
  Player call up should be based on merit and game plan, and not on popularity, public sentiment and individual parochial interests.

  How did Samed Salis get dropped at his club? He played almost every game for his club last season and was considered a good contribution. Does anyone know what may have happened ? Off the pitch incidence?
