The Akuffo-Addo/Bawuliar government has disappointed Ghanaians on all governance fronts, from the economy to national security, social coherence to security, financial and fiscal discipline to legal jurisprudence, environmental and national resources management, etc. Instead, we have intensified massive corruption, impunity, disrespect for the law, financial indiscipline, nepotism and cronyism, excessive borrowing, destruction and bringing the economy to a junk state, state capture, state terrorism, and degradation and devastation of our river bodies, livelihoods and forests, just to name a few. Under this minister, Ghana has been disqualified from playing the AFCON in our own country because our stadia do not meet international standards with the country now being compelled to play our matches in another country. What a shame . This should call for the outright dismissal of the sports minister and the top officials of GFA but Akuffo Addo preferred to use the head of the NSA as a scapegoat and leaving the corrupt minister of sports at his post and charging him with more responsibilities. This is sad .
