  Please my brother know that this year's BALLON DOR was voted for by only 100 selected JOURNALISTS from first 100 RANKED FIFA ASSOCIATION MEMBERS. NO Coach or National team captain voted in this year unlike the previous years. I just want us to appreciate the real situation concerning this year's awards.
  Also the period under consideration for the award is football season not calender year( From the beginning of 2023/2024 to 31st July, 2024), so whatever performance any player has put up for the current season is not counted.
  Also the 30 players to be voted for were selected after 31stJuly, 2024 and was released after 4th September, 2024. So voting started after 4th September and that's when Rodri's name was trending massively due to his performance at EURO'S AND VINI'S POOR PERFORMANCE AT COPA.
