  I think the referee is right. The player stop the ball with his hands. The referee got it right. He was right there at that particular place where the incident happened. He saw it clearly.

  When the ball touched the hand (not the hand stopping the ball) what was the direction of the ball? Was it heading into the net? Was there any kotoko player in sight who was denied access to the ball as a result of the ball touching the hand? Was the hand not in natural position for a player in the process of falling?
  The corrupt referee was at the right spot and should not have made this criminal decision.
  Next time, when similar decisions go against kotoko, they should not complain, but defend it as they are defending this one.

  This was a glaring penalty.
  It was not a deflection from the Bechem players head. The ball, perhaps after brushing the players head, struck the players hand with his harm visibly extended.
