So also (his namesake) Gyan let Ghana & Africa down in 2010 SA World Cup! Ghana had a fine and decent squad; Final was beckoning us in until Gyan naively missed the penalty. Ghana could have won the SA World Cup. To err ( or to hell) is human so Ghana must always remember Gyan as a great footballer who did score some great goals for Sikaman.

Senegal also did a great job but lost focus in the quarterfinals in Japan/Korea 2002.Morocco were not lucky in the semifinals so where from the VAR or referee issues you are raising.Be honest even if player for player quality we come close to the winning teams. They always have quality players who can change games which we lack. With the progress we have made so far it’s just a matter of time before the trophy will land in Africa.
