how was gh better? one thing stats dont tell you about is the unseen aspets of the game, the nuances. the egyptians scored both goals in open play. the penalty awarded to gh in the final minutes in my opinion was very soft. how many shots on goals did gh have in 90minutes? the egyptians defended well and took their chances. gh wasnt a better team. they were ill prepared. i dont know what their coaches were thinking. they dont have any fundamemtal, technical approach to the sport. look at the physique of the players like dog chain sellers.

Having 77 possession and being beaten is like Coach Otto Addo's good football with no vim upfront. Egypt defended well against Ghana and although they faked some of their falls, that did not matter. Satellites need to train seriously on their final passes and be very clinical upfront. Nigeria did similar but on a smaller scale against South Africa.
Good football alone does not win matches.
