  In the year 2013, Rubery with Bayern Munich won the treble including the Champions League, but he(Cristiano Ronaldo) was chosen as the Ballon d'or winner even though his team did not win the championsleague that year, and he proudly and boastfully received it without telling the organisers that they should give it to a player of Bayern Munich because they were the club that won the 2013 champions league.
  So you see, what Rebery said makes a lot of sense while Cristiano Ronaldo clearly displayed selfishness, inconsistency and hypocrisy.
