Well, like other players he must earn his call-up strictly on merit. It has been reported on this platform that a recent past coach gave a call-up to a goalkeeper for this very purpose. There should be no repeatition of such an affair under the current technical team, that is if the team is to make any progress in its performance.

Our major problem is the left back where there is lack of competition as sometimes Gideon plays af if there is nothing at stake and Baba should come to offer that. When coming too Rahaman should make sure he is physically fit to avoid any humiliation. Look at the goal we conceded against Nigeria in England recently and you will understand what I mean. Both Mensah and Baba are feeble in their marking. Hope the coaches will read this and find solutions to our lateral defensive set up.
