This guy was a gem. Abedi had the advantages of winning African player of the year over him because of his captaincy which he used to influence Pfister and the gullible media. Abedi cost Ghana a lot for his selfish gains.

It is shallow and pedestrian to assert that Abedi won African Player of the year merely because he was a Captain. No logic in such reasoning. Yeboah was a terrific striker and a football Great in his own right. Abedi was a maestro and a gem and exceptional footballer in his own right. Stop being a hater of Abedi. Stop the envy. Don't be a tribal bigot.

The symmetric (backwards) side if his name is equally great HA O BEY: a laugh when he’s about to score ‘HA’, a ‘O’ like,’Oh I see….’ when opponents’ keepers poise to grab his shots….oh can catch my bulletin; then BEY when his ‘shots’ enter the opponent’s net, BEY ooooo. His name YEBOAH tells it all. Well, didn’t know about TONY, maybe Tony Aidoo(NDC) can tell us what that name contributed to Yeboah’s skills- that’s the reasons why Yeboah is now in oblivion.
