One cannot write about players who successfully transitoned to coaching careers without mentioning CK Gyamfi, Ibrahim Sunday, Jones Attuquayefio, and Abdul Razak. Outside Ghana, other examples abound. Stephen Keshi of Nigeria, Rigobert Song of Cameroon. Jurgen Klinsman of Germany, and French national coach Didier Deschamps come to mind.

  The only place he could be faulted is that, he has given 9 ex Blackstars players turned coaches.
  One of them Maxwell Konadu did not play for the Blackstars. He played for the under 23 Olympic team but not the Blackstars.
  This will tell you that when you are called to the Blackstars its more valuable to you as a person than you to the Blackstars and to the nation and no player called to the Blackstars will dare not be committed such that some players could be claiming that they are committed while others aren't committed.
  Another pointed he could be faulted is that Ibrahim Tanko was at the 2
  1996 AFCON not 1998 AFCON.
