Kwaseampanyin, what are the funds allocated for the ministry used for? You misappropriate those funds, channel most of them into your personal accounts and come out to say you need to introduce wo ni twaase. Furthermore, had ORAL been effective we would have retrieved enough money to finance the said sector. I hope Ghanaians will resist the forthcoming tax and instead put pressure on the Government to speed up the retrieval of the looted funds which could be used to finance sports and many other things in the country.

Utilise gate fees and TV deals another income channel.

Don’t forget to tax bettings, of which sports events form bulk.

Do not be stupid and spend the money on supporters. Fans have to pay their way to the games. They can stay at home and watch on TV if they can afford to travel to the games. And quit paying officials per diems for traveling with the various teams, their job description includes traveling. Those officials can resign if they don’t want to travel with the teams, you know their travel expenses are paid by the state, no more per diems. The stupidity must stop
