Kotoko spank Gold Stars, we are waiting for Ghanaweb to report it.
Peter ewo Oly
Peter ewo oly ekoooo
Oko Dagadu
Wrong Ghanaweb. Lamptey actually joined hearts from Olympics and was already in top form a decision which angered many oly followers and the club.

YOU'RE WRONG! I KNOW IT! PETER, DURU, AND BILLY -- GRAHAM ORO --- NURTURED ME EVEN BEFORE I STARTED PLAYING COLTS FOOTBALL. I'M LOST! YOU ALL PRAY FOR ME TO RETURN. I'M SERIOUSLY HOMESICK! MAY LORD ALMIGHTY GRANT MY MENTOR AN ...

ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!!!
Peter Lamptey was already great in Gt. Olympics. He was virtually stolen from Olympics by Hearts of Oak. Itis not the other way round as this half-baked journalist in Ghanaweb would want us to believe.
Peter Lamptey the goal thief rather moved from Olympics to Hearts of Oak
Haha....Ghanaweb got the sequence wrong. The writer must be a kid or not born at the time. Peter played for Oly before joining Hearts at the peak of his career. He ended up scoring against Oly almost every game they played ag ...

He was the goal king in 1974 with the Great Olympics when he scored 21 goals for the season.
Rest well Champ.
Fare Thee Well, Peter Lamptey.
Condolences to the family and indeed the football fraternity.
Rest in perfect peace Peter. You were a great player indeed.
Ashley and USUS,all of you are right about the great Peter but left out a small but important detail,Peter shuttled between Oly and Hearts until he left Oly and burnt his Oly jersey to signify his eternal departure,Oly never ...

I remember him always scoring for Hearts of Oak against Accra Great Olympics
Peter Lamptey played for Olympics b4 joining Hearts .
.I was born in 1956
Where are the others? I hear only about Mohammed Polo. Anas Seidu ? Robert Hammond? Maama Aquah.....
Unfortunately Anas, Mama Acquah, Robert Hammond are all deceased.
I stand to be corrected but I think Polo is the only member of the "fearsome fivesome" alive.
You're right. Only Polo is alive. Peter Lamptey played along side with Legends like Jones Attuqufio, Awful Nelson, Afful, Fred Tetteh, Oman Menah, Edward Boyle and many others. I saw him play M.M.M. of Madagascar when Olympic ...

Peter joined Hearts of Oak from Great Olympics at close of 1971 league season.l remember his performance during Hearts against Olympics in 1971 which Hearts won 5-3 but not without Peter Lamptey terrorising Hearts defence and ...
