  Ghana will set a bad precedent if Nketiah is allowed to join the team. It would be one thing if he had never been invited before, but he has turned down all previous invitations. Other players have sacrificed their time and energy to help us qualify, so why should anyone be dropped for Nketiah? This would show a lack of respect for those who have remained loyal to the team.
  
  After the World Cup, it’s evident that Nketiah is not committed to playing for Ghana long-term. We should support the players who have demonstrated their commitment and have represented us well, instead of giving in to an opportunistic and arrogant player like him. Let’s uphold our national pride; we cannot have it both ways. Allowing this will also create problems for the players in camp, many rejected the opportunity to play for Ghana, and they should remain away from the team.
