  Kofi Adams should focus on being minister rather than pursuing an unobtainal goal of hosting the World Cup. The Black Stars doing well in next year's world cup will not influence the world cup's selection committee to select Ghana has a host nation. First, the country doesn't have quality infrastructure like communications, transportation, stadiums, highway network, lodging,etc to host a world cup. Secondly, it is sad to say that Ghana has nothing to bribe members of FIFA's selection committee. More than half the country's budget comes from international assistance and from development partners, making it impossible to fund sports infrastructure. Kofi Adams should ask himself how a third-tier football playing nation like Qatar hosted the world cup. The minister has formed a committee tasked with exploring the country's bid. Its work will amount to nothing other than spend allocated funds chasing a mirage.
