For all his faults, Nkrumah deserves to have his name on the airport because he orchestrated Ghana's freedom and independence. Nkrumah is the Gather of Ghana and African liberation. Look at the induateies Nkrumah vreated and built? What did Nlc do for job creation? Nkrumah made history for Ghana. Nkrumah laid the foundation for Ghanaian identity and laid the economic, administrative, manufacturing and infrastructure foundation for Ghana. The British didn't do anything for Ghana. It was Nkrumah who laid the groundwork and for his hardwork how can you gaunt him.for wanting to stay in power and finish what he started? Before Nkrumah was brought back to Ghana by Paa Grant..All these Ghanaian.aristocracy were dragging their feet to liberate and seek independence for Ghana..therefore, why shouldn't we name our major airport after him?   It is also important to note that the promise may have been made to motivate the team to win the CAF Champions League, which would have qualified the club for the FIFA Club World Championship, where millions of dollars were anticipated. The subsequent cancellation of the tournament may have put the $25,000 promise in jeopardy.
  Therefore, all the blame should not be placed on Hearts of Oak, considering the financial and logistical challenges involved in managing a football club.
  Charles Taylor has the right to complain; however, as someone who claims to be a club legend, the responsibility lies with him to channel his grievances through the appropriate channels, rather than moving from one media station to another and biting the finger that once fed him.
  It is also worth noting that he never mentions Accra Great Olympics, the club that gave him the nickname “Charles Taylor” to replace “Shoeshine Boy.” It was Great Olympics that brought him into the limelight. C T, please for once, talk about the only wonder club of Ghana, Accra Great Olympics; the team that once featured 12 players against an opponent (can't recall the name of the team) with 11, many interesting stories about Oly. Oh I miss Bernard Aryee and Exekiel Alamu and Opoku Agyeman (that #9; I forgotten his nickname) and Joe Odoi. Special greetings to ever grateful Kenneth Sarpong, and my sister and former Black Queens defender, the legendary Elizabeth Yaa Baidoo….
