  We have 54 countries in Africa and you want 28 to go for the tournament. Then stop playing the qualifiers so all the 54 will go for the competition.

  My first impression was that the 28 teams will be too much and make the competition less attractive given the non competiveness of some of the countries.

  My first impression was that the 28 teams will be too much and make the competition less attractive given the non competiveness of some of the countries.
  But on a second thought, it would give countries like Ghana who sometimes struggle to qualify a better chance to qualify.
