This is exactly the argument some of us have been making all along about players like Hudson-Odoi, Eddie Nketiah and other players who rejected Black Stars call up in the past - none of them is better than the players that were used during the qualifying campaign, so it makes no sense to drop those who toiled to qualify us for those who didn't want anything to do with us. But the pundit is wrong to say or suggest that Otto Addo got it wrong. The players he has invited for the upcoming games are not the final squad for the world cup, it is just an opportunity to try new faces

Although I like Nimley, I can tell he has something against Otto Addo. He refuses to give Otto credit for qualifying us to the World Cup. In the big picture, we have an average team with some individuals who can have moments of brilliance. We simply need to win the Panama game and manage the England and Croatia matches. That should get us into the round of 32. That will be an achievement for this team.

Their call ups were not invitation to the WC. It is not only about the starting eleven. It is also about the bench. We all saw what happened in Japan and Korea with a depleted team. You only go to war with the army you have. Coach Nimley's imaginary expectation of the caliaber of player quality needed to be called are simply not there. It is easy to sit on a couch and a play a coach on social media. WHAT ARE/WERE THE TEAMS COACH NIMLEY COACHED, AND HIS RECORD AS A COACH?

One of the greatest obstacles to progress is individuals like Nimley, who operate under the illusion that they could achieve better results if entrusted with the responsibility themselves. It is worth questioning his credentials and track record in coaching before entertaining such claims. Envy, if left unchecked, is ultimately self-destructive. As it stands, Otto remains the most competent option available, and he has our full support regardless of any criticism or dissent.
